Riding, Driving, Jumping Updated 13th April 2021 Home Falabella Chico with former 5 times British Champion Jockey Willie Carson OBE at Ascot. Willie is wearing the famous Shadwell silks of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum. Please note: Willie's feet were only off the ground for a few seconds at a time so that photos could be taken to promote Ascot's latest 'Festival of British Racing'. Only very small children can realistically ride Falabellas - a rough guideline is that a healthy Falabella of between 3 and 15 years old can carry 10% of it's own bodyweight, and that must include the weight of saddle, child and child's clothing.
